Commack deli
Anyone know of a decent deli in Commack. Just someplace to get a good sandwich, type of place?

Is that the shopping center on the corner of Commack Rd & Jericho? If not, where is it? Thanks!
ETA: NM, I just realized its the one by Jericho and Kings Park Road. Thanks!

Re: Commack deli
Believe it or not, the cold cuts and sandwiches at Quick Stop are good! (The mini-mart type place next to the gas station across from Chuck E Cheese).
The great thing about them is that you can call ahead (for sandwiches or cold cuts) and just go through the drive thru to pick them up - comes in REALLY handy when you have 2 grumpy kids in the car! All the cold cuts are boars head.
They also have chicken cutlets and salads, etc - much more than I would have thought as well as milk, bread, soda, chips etc.

I have heard a lot of good things about that place. I will have to try it.

I have to agree with the above. I was very skeptical that a gas station mini mart could have good food, but I was very, very wrong!

Commack deli
Commack breakfast across the street from The Abbey makes amazing breakfast sandwiches. They're sooooo good.
For lunch type sandwiches, I always went to Bagel Chalet in the Michaels/Petco shopping center. The line gets pretty long during lunch hours though.

How are they price wise for cold cuts? About the same as a deli? Supermarket?

I don't usually buy from a deli, only the supermarket but I think the roast beef is $10 a lb and the turkey is the same. I don't remember about cheese.
They have a full sandwich board/wrap menu too though with a grill for sandwiches.
