Re: Communion centerpieces.......
my cousin had each table named for a different cany and each centerpiece was that candy.....the lollipop table had a bowl/conatiner with lollipops, the placecards said "Table Lollipop" etc.... i think she used candy bars, m&M etc

Re: Communion centerpieces.......
For my older son's Christening, I handpainted flower pots and included soil and a packet of seeds. I wrapped them up with cellophane and lots of curling ribbon. Looked so pretty and everyone took them home as favors. I have made these (flowerpots) for several of the girls here on LIF too. Looks so nice clustered in the center of the table. You can even plant flowers in them. Looks nice.
I've also made chocolate lollipop centerpieces. Looks cute.
Check out my Kodak Gallery pics for ideas.
If you are having "kids" tables...I've filled up large personalized buckets with playdough, crayons, paper, coloring books, bubbles, puzzles, etc...to keep the little ones entertained. Also looks cute as a centerpiece.

Re: Communion centerpieces.......
Do you already have favors?
I made these for a friend's baby shower... You could do them in chocolate on extra long sticks and arrange in a basket...
ETA: If you want specific directions, let me know.... I can email them (there was a trick to getting all of the different colors on there!
