Communion Gift?

Hi,

We have two communions tomorrow in one day!

I still haven't gotten a gift. Well I did get each girl a Communion Plaque.

I was going to do either cash or a savings bond. But I don't know how much. Normally I would give $100 but we have two in one day. Should I still give $100 or something esle?

PS. One girl (I am best friends with her Mom), and the other is my sisters niece through her marriage. But we are very, very close to them.

what are the communion plaques like? are they girls or boys? maybe give the plaques, $50 each and then a small toy -- something the child would enjoy? because money and savings bonds are usually not high on children's lists -- they are wonderful to give but maybe something fun for them to enjoy also?
