Complete Previa

As if I really need more to add to this pregnancy I was told I have Complete Previa right now.

All I was told is that the placenta is blocking my cervix and no intercourse or heavy lifting.

Has anyone else had this? Did it fix itself? Did you have any complications?

Thanks!

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon So sorry. Sometimes it can move up and correct itself especially when diaganosed early in the pregnancy. You just have to take it REALLY easy, rest often don't even lift DD from a standing position. If you start to bleed you have to be prepared to be on bedrest for possibly the rest of your pregnancy. Also if it doesn't correct itself you'll need a c/section to deliver the baby. Feel free to FM me if you have any questions. Chat Icon

Re: Complete Previa

My cousin in law had this and was on bedrest from Month 5 until she gave birth. She had to have a c-section but the baby is healthy and she is fine. She just told me she couldn't have intercourse, lift anything or really do much at all.

That's all the Dr really told me: no intercourse or heavy lifting.

I didn't want to go to the internet for info on it because I get too worried!

ugh/..how much can one person take???
that stinks.
I had low-lying and bled from it--I didnt get diagnosed right away. it resolved itself,
it is very imp...u listen to everything they say and do not move. alot or do unecessary things .that going to be easy.
u will more then likely see the specialist the enitre pregancy and they will monitor it--u get a regular and a vaginal sono everytime.
take it easy..
hugs!

My SIL also had this and was on bedrest for 6 weeks. She delivered her son at 36 weeks and all was good.
