Computer Sounds
Even the ole Captain can come up with a mindless question once and a while 
Do any of you have sounds programmed into your computers that play when you do certain things.
Like for us, when the computer starts up, I have Richard Dawson from Family Feud saying, "SURVEY SAYS!!"
When it shuts down I have the Price is Right ending -- "Bob Barker reminding you to help control the pet population... yada yada yada"

Not know, but in college someone loaded clips from Seinfeld on to our newspaper computers.
We also had a lot of fun recording ourselves saying stupid things. One night we were all working in our lab to get the paper ready for the printer. I was sitting at a computer and talking to a professor (a very highly regarded, refined, Harvard educated woman) about a story.
Meanwhile the computer of the person next to me was randomly featuring me yelling something vile and vulgar in the background that I'd recoreded as an alert sound.

I used to have so many, lots of Adam SAndler ones, but when I got a new computer I never bothered to load them.
Now I just have "Chandler" saying, You couldn't have more mail!

When my uncle was adding software once on my old computer, he added sounds to the startup and shutdown actions. The start up would say, "heeeeyy, good looking!" And the shutdown was something like "Place your seats and tray tables in the upright position...."
I almost fell off my seat the first time I heard it, because he didn't tell me he did it.

my incoming mail sound used to be the sound from the Jetson's. Try getting THAT sound out of you head after hearing it all day

For AOL, when it opens David Letterman says "Hello Lisa" and when it closes he says "Goodbye Lisa"
When I have mail he says "Congratulations Skippy you have mail"

Mine are all the boring factory installed window sounds. I used to have all different sayings but I never set it up when I bought my new computer.
