Conception and due date
According to mymothlycycles.com and my doctor (unofficially) the first day of my last AF was November 28th, which puts me at a September 5th due date. I won't know officially until my sonogram on the 18th. Do you think this date is accurate?

For me, the due date based on Last menstrual period is accurate. That is what the doctor uses for calculation as well.

I think it depends onhow regular your cycle was. For me if I went by my LMP it shows I conceived in Sept and due in June, but my due date is July 10th and I conceived in Oct.My cycle was like 40-50 days long.

Depends on your cycle, but it sounds right. The first day of my period was 11/23 and my due date was 8/30. Of course, that was last year! Not preggo now!

OMG MY LMP was November 28th also! I usually have a 29 day cycle and I am figuring September 3 or 4. Woohoo! We will be side by side throughout this!

It's a good guide to initially use you LMP to figure your due date, but it should be confirmed by your first sono b/c some women don't O until later in their cycle - making their due date later.

Depends on how long your cycle is. Most of those online calculators assume a 28-day cycle, but there are some that take your cycle length into account.

thats what the doctor will use until your first actual sonogram. Once they see the measurement of the baby they will have a more accurate due date

I have very irregular cycles, always have, so the OB and I both went with what the sono reads.

These were my dates exactly 2 years ago, lol. Something you just never forget.
LMP 11/29, I was due 9/5 and he came on 9/11

Same here. I pretty much knew when I ovulated and although my dr. figured my due date off of my LMP, it was the same due date I got when I calculated based on date of ovulation.

my LMP was Nov 29 and fertility friend.com says Sept 9th is my due date. I think its weird that they say i am 4 weeks when i think i concieved on Dec 18th and i should only be 2.5 weeks. Why is that???

The "4" weeks include the weeks before ovulating. The egg is actually 2 weeks old (approximately) when it is fertilized. So when you miss your period, you are 4 weeks pregnant. That is assuming that your cycles are fairly regular.
