Concerns with removing BIP

My son is 7.5 and mod/severe ASD nonverbal. Last year he had a lot of behavioral issues in school, and I often got messages about it from his teacher, but I think a lot had to do with us trying to find the right combo of meds, and also the teacher themselves not being a right fit.... as a result a BIP with a 1:1 was implemented.... this year he has a new teacher who is wonderful overall and she has reported that he has had no behaviors since entering her class in September, and the team is going to suggest at our upcoming CSE meeting next month to remove the BIP and 1:1. I am concerned though that when he gets another teacher next year who doesn't work quite as nicely with him, behaviors may return... is it a pain to have a BIP removed and then re-implemented if needed? Should I argue with keeping it?

Concerns with removing BIP

Is the teacher going to remain the same ?
If not I would bring it up in the IEP meeting that he may need reassement for BIP if behaviours return.

My son is the same, but no BIP yet , I have not asked for it in writing and I am thinking if I should.

I think it’s a struggle to get school districts give a one to one / BIP implemented
If the BIP has not been needed in the past year, then I guess they are saying it’s moot and if new behaviour crop he will need reassessment anyway
Why do they think to remove the aid
Could u argue he is doing better in school because of the aid ?
