Conditioner/Detangler for 6 month old?!
Sophia gets terrible knots from sleeping on her back at night, and rubbing her head side-to-side while she sleeps. She has short hair growing in, but the hair she's had since birth is like 5inches long and gets sooo matted -- i had to cut it this morning I wanted to cry
Is there anything I can use on her? A conditioner or detangler that's safe for a 6 month old?!

We didn't start using conditioner until very recently (DD was probably 2.5 years), but we use California Baby conditioner. It's all-natural, so I'd imagine it would be perfectly safe for a 6 month old. You can either leave it in or wash it out (we wash it out so it doesn't weigh DD's hair down).

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Johnson's No More Tangles Leave In Conditioner. (It's in a teal green tube) It's awesome. My DD kept getting big huge knots in the back of her head when she slept so I started using this when she bathed. After I wash her hair I rub in a generous amount and comb through and then dry her hair as usual. It has REALLY helped to keep her hair silky smooth and it prevents the knotting in the back. If she does get a little knotty I rub a little into her hair (you can use it on dry hair too!!) and comb through and her hair looks beautiful again.
I can't say enough good things about it!!!........oh!!..........and it smells delicious too!!!

Mason has crazy hair and gets knots too. Try the Aveeno shampoo. It's really great and soft for their hair
I also use their body wash and his skin feels like silk after

TY!!!!
this is the type of thing I was looking for. This was the second time I had to cut knots out of her hair and it really upset me. Her bald spot is just starting to fill in and here I am butchering the hair she does have!
