Condo locations for parents?
My parents are thinking of selling their home here in Nassau and downsizing to a condo here on LI and also buying a condo out of state for the winter months. Any suggestions for condo locations other than Florida? Both would be retired, in their mid 60's, active, like to go out to eat, shop, etc. Thanks!

Are you looking for suggestions here as well? If so Brettonwoods in Coram is wonderful. Great social scene, lots of clubs, restaurant, clubhouse, bowling, pool, golf.

My sister used to live here, and it's like a country club for Seniors!

Many people are moving to the Carolinas. My DHs aunt and uncle moved to Delaware and love it!

Friends of ours have a home in Bluffton, SC in a 55 community called Sun City.
It is just outside of Hilton Head.
DH and I are thinking about there as well.
I want a small house and DH wants a condo.
