Confused- Teething overnight and CIO-kids

We did CIO with DD about 3 weeks ago, worked like a charm thankfully. Rarely makes a peep, slept like a rock (even though she's a light sleeper) through the recent thunderstorms, etc. The last 2 nights though she has been VERY restless, making lots of noises, etc. Last night was bad, she wasmaking for quite a while on & off but we didn't go in b/c she'd then fall back asleep for a while

Realize today she's likely teething. Molars. Just a little fussy on/off today b/c of them. Gave her Hyland's tablets before bed. But if she is whiny/crying in a few hours, am I supposed to go in and comfort her? Give her more tablets? Or will that confuse the whole CIO routine we had established and take us back to her waking 1-2 times per night?

I even spoke to my dr about this bc it hurt me soo bad to know 100% sure that my son was teething and not go in bc of CIO. Im just going to tell you what happened to us...we did CIO..worked like a charm..son was sleeping all nite. Then..two top teeth were coming in and he was in sooo much pain...long story short, we went in to do whatever we had to do to comfort him...once the teeth came all the way through..we went back to CIO..Good luck!!! Now..knock on wood..he is back to sleeping again!

I don't do CIO and I always consol DS if he is not feeling good.

So I am not help.

Hope she feels better soon.
