congenital heart disease
My world came crashing down today as I sat in the perinatologist's office following a fetal echo for what I thought was a positioning problem that resulted in an unclear view of the baby's heart. What we learned was that the baby has a disorder called pulmonary atresia--something that is life threatening and will only result in surgery soon after he/she is born. (To think we decided to go  because we wanted to be surprised...)
I guess why I'm sharing this on these boards is to find out if anyone has any experience with a congenital abnormality like this, or if anyone has a pediatric cardiologist that they use. Just looking for a second opinion, and thought I'd start here....Thanks, if you got this far.

Lots of prayers! I go for my fetal echo on the 18th!!
In any case, I highly recommend pediatric cardiologist Dr. Sean Levchuck at St. Francis.
