Have you tried a couple of ounces of water? Does he eat Rice cereal? I know that has a tendency to make babies constipated. Or you could try the thermometer trick. Water ususally works for Emma. I've used the thermometer a couple of times and that works also, but she hates it!

Sugar water. Mix tlb spoon of sugar with 2 ounces of water and that should help. Or you can put a tbl spoon of karo syrup in his bottle. Or you can get glycerin supositories for babies.
Hope he feels better soon!

Re: Constipation need help... any advice
What the consistency of his poo? If is hard and formed it's def constipation, poor little guy
I would offer him some water, or when DD's used to get like that 1 ounce of water to 1 ounce of Pear juice once a day always does the trick.
Def keep an eye on what your feeding him=rice cereal, bananas, applesauce, potatoes are all binding...
Peaches, pears, and greens are not.
MY dd is still prone to constipation, I never had to use a thermometer or suppository-knock on wood thank goodness :)
ETA: give him some time to process the prunes or juice, too much all at once, well you're have a mess on your hands for hours!

Put some water in the formula or take a cue tip put a little vaseline on it and rub it around the outside of his but..that usually stimulates the baby to go...poop. or if it gets real bad buy those baby enemu things and use that..they would use those in the NICU when the babys got constipated...good luck

If he's been like that for a couple days, the pellets are def constipation. I would Call PED today.
Remember it's not the frequency it's the consistency, and that def consipation poo..poor little guy
My ped doesn't want my girls to go more than 1 day with hard formed pellets like that.
