Consult appt???

I have an appt tomorrow with a perinatologist- not Dr. Kofinas, unfortunately (see other post about insurance ). Does anyone know what to expect??? Will it just basically be a conversation or is there an exam too???

I had my clotting consult with Dr Kofinas but when I got pregnant I could not afford him. At the time he wanted $600 a visit. Two visits a month to start with and went to every week in the third trimester. I ended up using Dr. Golstein from Modonna. He was great and I had a healthy baby boy thanks to them, my ob and a lot of shots of Lovenox.
Anyway if it's not to late, to answer your question. I had a quick internal sonogram and they checked the ovaries and uterus. Then we sat in the office and discussed my test results and came up with a course of action. I was told the protocol choice is up to me but was told what the doctor would do if it was him. I left with Rx for meds and a game plan to get and stay pregnant. Good luck. Oh and the whole thing took about an hour from start to finish.
