Consumer Kitchen & Bath

Anyone use them for kitchen remodel? Were you happy? I had them come for measurements and pictures today.
Did you negotiate the price they gave? How much were your cabinets?

I priced them for cabinets and found them to be one of the most expensive and the quality was eh.

My BIL's wife's parents bought cabinets from them and spent about 15,000 and they have a very small kitchen. IMO, that is way too much for their cabinets.

A friend of mine has a bad experience with one of their contractors. They didn't do much to help remedy her situation. She ended up losing a few grand and had to hire someone else to fix and complete the job.

We bought our kitchen cabinets from them and we only spent about $4000 and I have a very big kitchen. They quality was so so, the customer service $ucked bigtime and a bunch of cabinets came in the wrong size and delayed us for many weeks. We installed them ourselves.

My contractor bought our kitchen at Consumers - I had really no dealing with them other than going to the store, seeing cabinet styles and finishes.

We have a smaller kitchen and didn't have to do much in the way of redesigning the space - other than seeing a few images and choosing the one the one that worked for us.

Our kitchens are Kraftmaid and I am happy with the overall quality. Any issues we had with Consumers, they took care of it.

My parent's friends bought their kitchen cabients there and one year and 4 deliveries later, there were finally no more damaged cabinets.
They were VERY dissatisfied.
I, personally, would never shop there.
