Contact Lenses-People who wear them
I havent wore them for too long...a little over a yr. My recent visit had me updrade to Acuvue Advanced (apparently they are really good).
I pop them out every nite and sit in clean solution and wear for 2wks.
Everyday I have a problem seeing out of them!
Clean when I pop in. I get to work,..i have something on them..mainly makeup I guess.
WTH?
Am I doing something wrong?
Solution Im using...Could it be the contacts?
I used Biomedics prior to these and felt that I didnt deal with that as much.

Are they they hydro-advanced brand?
I "upgraded" from the Acuvue advanced to the one that's hydro....a lot better!! I constantly had cr@p in the acuvue advanced brand.

I wear daily contacts... the ones you throw away each day...
I love them
I would call your eye doctor and ask him/her , maybe they can see whats going on

do they feel "sticky?" Maybe they are not hydrated enough. I know my lenses get cloudy & weird if I do not put drops in them.

i wear Acuvue Advance & do the same thing...I usually have trouble seeing out of one or the other after about 5 days. I was told it was from "protein" buildup. I don't understand how bc i do clean them every night!

That would be my guess. I wear the biomedics & they only get blurry when they are dry.

I acutally had the same thing happen with my right contact. I put it in on Saturday & yesterday it was bothering me. When I got home, I made sure i ran my clean fingers over them with solution & found some "buildup" on them & a piece of lint! Today, they are back to normal!!!!

I had the SAME EXACT issue when I went from 3moth contacts to 2 week lenses. It's bc they are thinner and actually wetter (if that makes sense) that everything sticks to them
Its annoying but you will get used to it.

I wear Accuvue 2 - wear for 2 weeks and toss. I do take them out every night. I have no idea, but it happens to me sometimes. I feel like my eyes get tired and I am constantly blinking. I don't even wear make-up, but when you don't, do you have the same issue?
ETA: You're PG, right? My eyedoctor told me that I shouldn't get fitted for contacts whe I am pregnant because it slightly changes the shape of your eye. Maybe you just have a slight change and after the baby comes all will be better. Just a thought.

I ALSO noted with my 2 week contacts that they're blurry after a few days after the same routine of cleaning every night and I don't normally wear eye makeup. I use Opti-Free Replenish.

I had a problem with my contacts for awhile. I though I had a bad batch of lenses - turned out it was an eye infection.
It's worth a trip to the eye doctor. Eyes are one thing you dont' want to mess around with.
