Contact script and buying new contacts...

I got a 3 months supply back in March and my script expires in 5 days. So I went today to try to pick up 3 more month supply before my script expires. Costco refused to sell me more than 1 box b.c my script is expiring in 5 days and they tell me they can only sell me by law 5 days worth so they would be more than generous and sell me one box. My insurance only allows one visit every 24 months and I might be losing my insurance soon. I know I have done this before - anyone else had that issue? When I bought the original set at BJs I asked them if I wanted to get 3 more months worth when I would have to do that by and they said I could buy them anywhere as long as I didn't it before Nov 1st.

Does anyone know if this is true (I don't have the BJs membership anymore so I can't go back there).

go on coastalcontacts.com or 1800contacts.com. I always buy as much as i want from them, even when my scrip is close to being a year old.

Thank you! That is what I thought. I had two of them telling me if I went elsewhere to buy them and that place gave me 3 months worth then they would be breaking the law as they are only allowed to give enough to finish the "year" on the script. I told them that I had done this every year and never had a problem before that that wasn't true but they were not budging. Just really annoys me b.c I am on a tight budget and didn't want to spend a lot but I see much better with my contacts than with my glasses so I really need to get them.

Has anyone bought online before and trust them.

I buy from lens.com and haven't had that problem. I've bought contacts as late as a year and a half later.
