contractions- repost from parenting
what do REAL contractions feel like? (not Braton Kicks)
do they feel like really bad menstral cramps that come an go?
Im getting something like that every 10 min or so and wondering if its the real deal?!

i've been having them for the last week ... but they're very erratic and don't really increase in pain .... but i know it's coming!!

They don't feel like Braxton Hicks (at least mine didn't).
When my contractions started, it kinda felt like gas pains - you know when you get a gas bubble low in your abdomen, it's like a sharp pain. That's what it felt like. After a while, the pain went from my lower back around to my front, and they got stronger and were 6 minutes apart.
Start timing and good luck!
