Contractors working outside your home
If you have a contractor working outside your home, is it normal for them to pee in your yard?

Even IF this is normal; I wouldn't be OK with it. Did you catch them on camera?
I had a guy deliver propane a few years ago and he peed right in my driveway. WHY???
I called the company and told them what happened; and asked that he doesn't deliver to my house anymore.
McDonald's is less than a 5 minute ride away.

That is disgusting. I would expect them to ask to use my bathroom and I would be completely fine with them using it. I would also provide water/Gatorade on a hot day like today.

Re: Contractors working outside your home
They never asked to use my bathroom. My husband caught the worker and when questioned he said he didn't want to track mud through my house. I contacted the owner and in our conversation I mentioned this and he said "so"? And agreed with the worker.

Re: Contractors working outside your home
I personally find it gross, but have had the same thing happen at my house.
My DH that constantly works in the field and can't stop for bathroom breaks has to pee in bottles in his truck.
I always wondered what female employees do when they are out all day.

I wonder if they are told they are not to ask the homeowner to use the bathroom? But what's worse? Peeing in their yard? My dad once said his neighbor's landscper POOPED in their bushes and he witnessed it. Now THAT would make me want to vomit!

That is what my husband said. How did we know that didn’t happen.

Re: Contractors working outside your home
My yard is relatively wooded and private, so I'd honestly have no problem with it as long as they were discreet. I guess I'm gross, but I'd prefer it to them coming in and out of the house using my bathroom.

What the actual eff? He PEED in your YARD?
No. Nope. I’d have fired him in the spot. I have bathrooms and would be more than happy to let a worker in to use it.

Doesn’t sound normal to me lol. But honestly there are worse things to mad at, like a landscaper pooping the bushes
