Convertable crib question
Did you buy the conversion kit when you bought the crib, or did you wait? I am worried that they may not have the kit by the time I use it, yet I question whether or not I will convert the crib into a bed at all. Many moms have told me that they didn't use it!

Re: Convertable crib question
We bought the conversion bars with the crib for that very reason. We def plan on using it to turn it into a toddler bed then a full size bed. The set we bought is DD's ,we don't plan on passing it down to the next one.

Re: Convertable crib question
Shoot! Now I'm worried. We didn't buy it with our set, they said we did't need to but from what I recall Ragazzi went out of business. Am I SOL? It is a universal kit?

Me too. I didn't buy it either when I bought the crib. I guess I should start making some calls.

Do you have Ragazzi? I am thinking if we have a boy next I will give him this set but still in time it will need to be a bed.

Re: Convertable crib question
we asked when we bought our crib and they told us our model is very popular so they probably won't be discontinung it anytime soon, but we should check back in about a year just to make sure so we could order if we needed to

Re: Convertable crib question
I never knew you needed a kit! I just called BRU (thats where we got DD's crib) - they said for the model I have, I dont need a kit to convert it into the toddler bed. If I am going to make it into a full size bed, I need to special order the rails. I am going to do this so they dont discontinue the crib before I am ready for the rails!

No, I don't have Ragazzi. But I believe my set was just discontinued. Good Luck!!!
