Convertible Carseat for an infant?
Me and dh were supposed to *share* the infant car seat, and yet again, he left for work with the base in his car.
I have the convertible car seat for when he was a little older, but I really want to go out today. He's within the weight limits, but for some reason, I'm still nervous about using it. It seems so BIG for him.
I'm sure once I adjust the straps, he will fit fine. Does anyone else NOT use the infant car seat for their newborn?

I've used it for Steven, and he has been fine. The first time I used it, he was I think 2 months old.

If you have a Graco Sgnuride, you can use it without the base. Instructions are in the manual.

I was going to say the same thing. We've used it without the base many times (we only had one base). You just seatbelt it in.

We used to do that all the time. Much easier than moving the base from one car to another.

I used it for Julia when she was 5 months old, but I would of put her in one right away, if I knew about them sooner!

Re: Convertible Carseat for an infant?
Thanks everyone. We have a BabyTrend, but I ended up putting him in the Convertible. He was fine! His head was a little more floppy than in the infant, even with the supports, but he was still comfy....
