convertible seats
What is a good convertible seat to get? I registered for the combi stroller and infant seat and cannot find a convertible seat in this brand. Can someone suggest what they found to be good. TIA

Re: convertible seats
Evenflow Titan and Triumph and Britax Roundabout are Consumer Reports top picks. As for us we have 2 Britax Marathons. They are bigger than the Roundabouts which means they will last us longer, for $200+ they better last!!

Re: convertible seats
I would go with a Britax. We're going to get the Boulevard because it has some features taht I like but the Marathon gets great reviews and safety ratings.

Actually - with regard to the Marathon - per consumer reports - they have gone down on the ratings list. They are no longer top rated because of the LATCH connections when the seat is REAR facing. If they are rear facing they recommend connecting it with the cars seat belt because the seat can tip back too far in an accident.

Oh I didn't know that. I guess because I didn't look into using it as an infant seat. Thanks for the info.

I had a Graco Snugride as an infant seat but that only goes to 26" OR 20lbs. Since Jeremy is 18lbs but 28" and 6 months he has to be in a convertible rear facing seat. The infant seats arent good until they are 1 year AND 20lbs (in most cases) so any seat you get will have to be rear facing until they are the right height and weight to be facing forward.

Do you know anything about the Boulevard? I liked it in the store because of the adjustment features, seemed easier than the marathon. Now I wonder if this will be the best choice. I guess I didn't think about the rear facing part. Can you tell I'm going to be a first time mom and not an experienced one
