Cool gadget for kids near pools!!!!!

There's a bracelet kids wear that rings an alarm in your home if your child should fall into the pool.
I know it wouldn't have helped that poor child in Shirley, but it could give parents peace of mind for their own kids.

i think it's a great idea but i would think it would give parents a false sense of security and they wouldnt' watch as well.also what would prevent the kid from taking it off.

It's really so scary.

My BFF has 2 yo twins and a 3 yo nephew who lives across the street. They are putting in a pool this month and I'm so scared 4 them.

They let there kids run rampant! Her nephew is the worst!

All these "safety" items leave so much room for human error.

I saw that they make sensors you can put in the pool to detect if the surface tension is broken and even laser beam perimeter sensors around the pool that sound an alarm if something breaks the line but you still have to make sure it's on, has batteries etc.
