I went to a pumpkin festival yesterday and they had crafts for the kids.

Pine cone Bird Feeder
1 pine cone
bird seed
crisco
popsicle stick
string

tie a string around the pine cone so it can fit around a branch

shmear crisco on the pine cone

put seeds on cone

hang!

Landon loves making these. You can do it with peanut butter also (in place of crisco)

We've been busy making "Stained Glass" Fall Leaves this past week!

1 roll of clear contact paper

Multiple colors of tissue paper, cut into 1inch squares, such as red, yellow, orange, brown and green.

Oaktag cutout of a leaf to trace (you can print one online and transfer it onto cardstock or a piece of a manila folder)


Directions:
Cut off a piece of clear contact paper and open only one side of the contact paper. Fold the other side that is still covered underneath.

Have your child put the different colors of tissue paper all over the sticky side of the contact paper, until it is well covered.

Once they are done, fold the other side of the contact paper back over carefully, avoiding bubbles.

Trace leaf pattern over the contact paper and cut out in the shape of a leaf.

Tape them to the window and you have beautiful "stained glass" fall leaves!
