Coral Reef of Tepan Edo in Epcot?
I was just reviewing my dining reservations for my upcoming trip and was wondering if you've eaten at either of those restaurants what were thoughts OR if you've eaten at both which one did you like better?

I have eaten at both many times.
I prefer Coral Reef. I enjoy the food, the service I get from the chef is amazing (I have food allergies) and the atmosphere is so much fun!
Tepan Edo is great too. My husband loves it. We have eaten there for his birthday. I do not enjoy the hibachi environment and do not like eating with strangers. Every time we've gone we've been at a full table and it's fine and fun and the food is delicious but it's just not my thing.
I also prefer steak to Japanese.

Coral Reef of Tepan Edo in Epcot?
we were trying to decide between these two ourselves and we decided to go with Coral Reef. My kids are on the younger side and hibachi can be kinda long. I feel like whenever we go to one here its an hour and half easy. I dont know if my kids would be able to sit that long. PLUS, we can do hibachi whenever we want here

Thanks for both of your replies :) My reservation is for Coral Reef so I think I'm going to keep it.
Aries14, you're absolutely right about Hibachi being long. My DD's are 6, 5 and 2 so the quicker the better.
And Kerri, I don't really love the idea of sitting at one big table with other people that I don't know either. I would have considered it if people said Tepan Edo was better than Coral Reef though.

Thought Coral Reef was really cool, but wish we were closer to the tank. It was tough bc it was nap time so they were a little jumpy and they're not fish eaters. Not a big menu. Especially for kids that don't eat fish.
I didn't eat at the other restaurant, but agree about hibachi part. You can do that anywhere. Can't eat in too many places where you're in front of a huge fish tank watching sharks, divers, etc swim by.
