cord blood / cord tissue - anyone else having issuedeciding which to do?
DD was born in aug 2o09 and we stored her cord blood with viacord.
i recently called viacord bc i wanted to get rates for baby#2 - and now i was told they do a new collection of cord tissue + Cord blood ; which is like 1k more then just cord blood.
i origially thought of doingcord blood (but i didnt know about the cord tissue)
my hubby says its their way of getting more $ out of you and says to do just CB.
Anyone else debating this?
Any thoughts?

I think the entire thing is a scam...didn't bank cord blood with DD and won't be doing it this time around. My dr. pretty much admitted it's a marketing scam - he didn't do it for any of his kids. There are public banks - if my hospital was affiliated with one I would have donated to that but my hospital doesn't do public donating.

I just started researching this and I keep hearing its a scam. I'm serioulsy going to have a hard time make a decision.
