Cord blood
Is anyone saving the cord blood? I would really like to do it, but I don't have much information on it. I have a dr. appointment on Friday and I am going to ask for more info. What do you ladies think?

Re: Cord blood
I looked into it with my last p/g it is a little expensive for the initial layout, but the yearly fee is not as bad. The only thing is, the industry is not regulated by the Government. Which means there are no standards they have to keep up with, which did not make me happy. I am wondering if things have changed in the past few years.

Re: Cord blood
We still haven't decided. In some other states you can donate the cord blood and they will save it in a bank for free. If you happen to need it before someone else does than its yours... but someone else can use it first. I wish we had that option in NY.
