Re: Corn on the cob
My dogs have always eaten corn on the cob. They've never gotten sick from it. It comes right out in their poo... which looks really strange. My dogs are pretty large dogs though. I'm not sure if it would make a smaller dog sick.

Re: Corn on the cob
Not to scare you but I was told by someone in the vet's office that corn is very bad for them. Also don't ever let her get the cob. My neighbor"s dog choked and died from eating the cobb.
eta- we used to let my cat eat it off the cob (she used to be an outdoor cat and ate all kinds of stuff back then so we would sometimes let her have it). She was always fine so who knows?

Re: Corn on the cob
Corn meal is an ingredient in a lot of low end dog foods, so it may not be such a terrible thing? Not really sure, honestly. I have heard situations of dogs choking on the cob too though, so it's good you supervised her the whole time.

Re: Corn on the cob
I wanted to stay stupid but I couldnt. Its very very bad for them.. If she couldnt do poops I would have had to take her to the vet immediately.. So for the record she will never have it again.. Its very serious

Re: Corn on the cob
My ILS used to give their dog corn on the cob, but they would hold it for her and turn it so she didn't have the cob herself
