Cost for babysitter when its a relative

So my aunt is willing to watch DS 4 days a week. Her work in a school and have a long commute so DS would be there 6:30am-4:30pm. I have to discuss a salary with her and I am not sure what's fair. How much do babysitters go for per hour? How much would you take that its a relative into account? I should also add that I will be dropping DS and picking him up at her house. TIA!

Depends on how close to her you are and how old is your child....

Also, does she expect to be paid and is there an opportunity cost for her? Ie. she won't be able to take a job if she's watching your DC.

I paid my unemployed sister 1000/mo. when she was watching my 7 mo. DS. She postponed looking for a job so she could watch him until he's ready for daycare.
