Cost of woodstove and wood
We're thinking about adding a woodstove to our proposed family room in our new basement --
I'd like to get one on craigslist and I'm seeing some in CT for $300-$500. Anything I should worry about if I try to buy one used?
How much is a cord of wood? How long does that last - we'll only be burning it periodically to supplement if the power goes out, for ex.
TIA.

Re: Cost of woodstove and wood
This year, we got a cord deilvered (not stacked) for $150. It lasted us almost the whole winter and we used it almost every evening.
