Cost to replace CAC system.
Anyone replace their CAC system recently. Last year we had a lot of problems with our system. Had someone in today and turns out we have the old R-22 system. We need a new air handler for it and it maybe hard to get the part since they stopped manufacturing these systems in 2010. I think it might be better to just replace the system with the newer R410. Trying to see what the cost might be.

Went through the same thing about 4 years ago. We had old system, the compressor died so we had to replace both the compressor & air handler. It cost us 7,200 I think.
