Costco, BJ's, Sams Club Members

Which club(s) do you have and what are the pro's/con's? TIA!

I've been to a Sam's club w/my MIL in Ohio, but never in NY. From what I saw, it was ok.

I am a member of BJ’s, just joined actually. they sent me a 60 day trial around the holidays and I was pretty impressed with the amount of $$ we could save!

Before I joined I also went to Cosco to check it out. I did not join Cosco because:
1. membership fee is more expensive
2. they don't take coupons
3. I compared prices to BJ's on a few things that I have purchased and they all cost more at Cosco.

I used to belong to Costco for a long time and finally switched to BJS for the following reasons:

They sell smaller sized portions of things. I don't need industrial sized everything.
They take coupons.
They have more brands and choice on everything.

When I lived in NY, I was a member of BJ's - it was ok.

Now in NJ, I'm a member of Sams Club. I like it much better because it has wines/spirits for decent prices.

I have Costco & BJ's. BJ's has a better baby selection so that in itself it worth it for me. Costco is closer and we use them for cakes, detergents, meats etc.

I was a member of BJ's before we got married:

1. You can use most credit cards
2. You can use manufacurer's coupons
3. It wasn't as crowded, there is one opening time for all card holders, and I get in and out faster.
4. Packaging... ex. three smaller ketchup bottles wrapped together instead of one gallon of ketchup (Costco)

DH has a Costco membership through his Dad's business

1. Closer to our house
2. Greater catering selection.

I'm a SAMS fan. They have a lot of odd stuff that the other two don't carry, they seem more organized and I'm in and out of there quick. When I go to BJ's or COSTCO, it just seems to take forever.

I prefer BJ's right now because they carry Pampers, Costco doesn't.

I have a BJ's membership for many reasons

1-Close to home
2-I feel their selection is better then Costco
3-Membership is cheaper
4-Accepts coupons
5-Usually not crowded & now have self checkout
6-Can go to 3 different BJ's in the matter of 10 mminutes

WE use Costco only because DH has a Costco membership through his business. Never been to BJ's, but I would like to try it out, we just don't want to pay to be members.

BJ's - it is good, we are happy with it, but we don't go that often though. We go maybe once every 2 months.

I've been a member of all three at one point or another and feel BJ's is the best. Best selection, faster registers, more savings. So I've had a BJ's membership for five years now. And there is a Sam's Club right around the corner, but I hated them the most.

I much prefer BJ's b/c they're everywhere and have a better selection of merchandise.

I don't like Sam's all that much

And honestly, I've never heard of Costco until I moved down to LI.

I belong to BJs and like it, but I think the furniture and food selections at Costco are better.

I used to belong to Costco but now I belong to BJ's. I like BJ's better because they take different forms of payment and they take coupons.

I belong to Costco and BJ's.

I use BJ's for smaller portions and if I need to just run in and out quickly.

Costco - if I'm doing a bigger shopping and I need larger portions.

I belong to Costco becuase there is one near me. I couldn't even tell you where there was a BJ's!

I like BJ's better because
- it's closer to home
- they take coupons
- they have discounts on gas at the one in Farmingdale

I have Sams and Costco. Costco only accepts debit cards and AmEx. Just accept my stupid credit card, wouldya?

We belong to all of them actually. My favorite is Costco because they return anything. You don't need the reciept and it could be years later and they will still take it back. I also like their selection. My second favorite is BJ's. I also like their selection. We hardly ever go to Sams club, but they do have good clearance items and cool stuff around the holidays.
