Costco in Holbrook- what's going on?
Our friend says he was there yesterday, and absolutely NO meats, NO veggies, or any other perishables. NOTHING...not just that they were running low, like they had been purposely removed. EVERYTHING perishable.
What the heck?

Not sure but I wonder if maybe they had a power outage or a problem with their refrigeration?

Yeah, but supposedly it was even fruits, etc...I'm assuming the non-refrigerated stuff like apples, etc. too. I didn't talk to him, DH did, so you know things can get lost in translation

My Husband works in Commack and that's what Costco did when they had the walk in fride built. Plus they just got finished with inventory, so it's probably less for them to count. LOL

My mom was there yesterday. She said there was a power outage, and LIPA was working on it.

There was a transformer and lines out and LIPA was having a problem fixing it. They took all of the perishable stuff and loaded them into the refrigerator trucks to keep everything at the correct temp.
