Cotton or Fleece Sleep Sack
I am transition DS out of the swaddle and into a sleep sack..do you think a cotton one with a onesie under is fine? I want to get the one with arms already attached.

Re: Cotton or Fleece Sleep Sack
Depends on the temps. Now, I would just do the onesie under the sleep sack. Maybe in mid-winter, I might do pjs as well. Think of the sleepsack as a blanket. What would you put on DC if you gave them a blanket, or what do you wear at night now, using a blanket?

Re: Cotton or Fleece Sleep Sack
I just bought my DD a fleece one for the winter. It's great because it is sleeveless so she won't get too hot. They have big sizes at BRU

It depends on the weather. I use both.

Re: Cotton or Fleece Sleep Sack
I use a onesie, cotton stretchie (sleeper) and fleece sleepsack without the arms so he doesn't get overheated. I also bought a few fleece stretchies for when it's really cold.
When it's not cold, I just put him in onesie and cotton stretchie.

Re: Cotton or Fleece Sleep Sack
We used to use the cotton one with the filling inside (like a sleeping bag) with no sleeves. Depending upon how cold it was, we'd use a onesie, pjs, or both.
DH doesn't like the fleece - he says natural fabrics are better for DS.

Same here. We just stopped swaddling DD about 1 week and a half ago. We put her right into the sleep sack- no problem. Thank goodness it was an easy transition. We found she sleeps even better not swaddled. Good Luck.
