Coughing and Sleep help
Miranda has a cough and it keeps waking her up. The ped said we could give her Benadryl and Delsym so I did but she is still hacking away and I feel so bad for her. She is so tired. We have the humidifier on and elevated the head of her crib but its not helping. My poor baby.
Any suggestions? Cough remedies?

we used dimetapp for three nights and saline spray and the aspirator. On saturday when he got really bad I turned on the shower.

Buy the Baby Vick's Vapor Rub. Rub it on her chest and throat and behind her ears. It def helps loosen up my kids congestion.

im going thru the same thing with my dd right now. i have been giving her dimetapp. hope you lil one feels better soon.

My sister's pediatrician told her to give the baby Robitussin infant cold & cough and to use the humidifier.

Also try the johnson and johnson vapor bath that helps as well
We also used robiussan DM 1/2 teaspoon thats what the doc told us

Whoa what a night. She took forever to get to sleep because the coughing kept waking her up (the congestion isn't all the bad its mostly coughing).
Anyway I went to bed and later I hear DH yelling my name. I go into her room where he is and he was all freaked out.
He said he heard her coughing on the monitor so he looked at her, seemed fine, coughed again and saw her throw up and it flew up in the air then he said it looked like she couldn't breather. When I got to her she was covered in poop and spit up. Poor girl.
That was enough to freak me out so she slept in her cradle last night right next to my bed.
I just want this cold to go away and fast.

I would call the doctor and make an appoitment that would freak me out as well and I would be at the doctors office but I am nurotic at times
