Coughing...teething related?
Noah has a cough, its not chesty or phlegmy it just seems like he is clearing his throat. Last night he coughed for 2 hours straight while he was in bed. He didn't cry or wake up, but he was coughing and coughing....So I am guessing that this is teething related. He is currently getting his first 2 molars and the little buggers are giving us no end of trouble.
Do you think I should take him to see my GP before we go away on holiday or do you just think he is coughing on saliva that is caused by the teething....

my little one does this too--- but not for 2 hrs. straight.
i attribute it to either increased saliva or his reflux. i've also heard that sometimes babies cough b/c they like "hearing themselves" make noises.
either way, if you are concerned he's uncomfortable, i'd put in a call to your ped just to make sure, esp. before going away on vacation.

Sorry...not straight like non stop, like cough, sleep 10 minutes, cough, sleep...Its only when he is laying down really

My ten month old is doing the same thing. I also think it might be teeth related because he doesn't seem to have a cold.
