so, as my growing belly becomes more and more a part of my world and daily life, I've incorporated it into some of my quirky behavior

at any given moment you can find me....

poking my belly
blowing kisses to my belly
wrapping both arms around it and giving it a hug
talking/singing to my belly
patting my belly to the beat of a good song on the radio...or I'll say "BOOOO" really loudly if a song comes on I don't like

and maybe the weirdest of all

I'll put my ipod on and have one bud in my ear for me, and the other bud in my belly button so the baby can listen too.

so far, Garbage gets a great response

I stare at it in the mirror

i pat it, poke it, lay my hands on it.

i say good morning and good nite to it..

i lay in bed and watch it move..b/c thats party time for little man. I think thats the thing i will miss the most when its over.


i was thinking of trying the earbud thing..i'll have to crank up some justin timberlake for little one..LOL

usually just lift my shirt up and expose my belly to DH at random moments and say "BELLY!" in a loud, strange voice.

I tap it along to the tune of a song on the radio.

For the longest time I thought I was tapping and rubbing his butt. But then I found out he's breech and has been for a long time. Turns out I was bopping my kid in the head and not his butt!

I rub my belly so much one of my dresses has little pills on the belly area from me! I find myself touching my belly button. Sometimes when I am laying I'll trace things on it or tap it lightly, sometimes will tap back, but very rarely!

I rub it all of the time.
My dh kisses it goodnight and good morning. Every morning "Good morning, Stuart!" and we are not naming him that
I talk to it
I play music for it.
I put our pug next it and "speak" to them both.

Lately, I have been spilling things on it, but not on purpose

Talk to it.
Shake it up.
Push on it to get to move to a different spot.
Rub it.
Lately- hold it up because there's SO much pressure in my pelvis.

i poke my belly button sometimes cause i cant believe how short it is in there!

but i also tap it to music.

I definitely rub and pat my belly. When I feel little body parts poking out I ask her to move her elbow, knee or heel...can't tell which part it is. I constantly talk to my belly and tell the baby what we're doing (only when I'm alone though)

I talk to my belly a LOT...
Definitely rub the belly.
Sometimes poke when I want to play!
I also like to hold it & sing.

I still have to play music for the belly - can't wait to see how the little monkey reacts!
