Could brown haired colors who highight blonde please help?
hi
I amtrying to find a salon in Suffolk/Nassau North Shore who has someone who works with brown haired to turn blonde. My biggest gripe is it turns red and i don't like it nor look good in red.
Any good stylists? Thanks
I live in east northport but will drive

I'd try Tru Salon in St. James. OK, technically I am going there tonight for the first time for a glaze, but I went in for a consultation and they were so nice. I box colored my hair and it didn't cover my 'lights that well after a few washings and the colorist there (I have Maria) was very helpful and sat down with me for free and went through glaze color charts. They are on North Country Road.

when i was in ny - i used to get my light brown hair highlighted at Sizzles in Huntington - Ralph the owner is very good
i have a lot of red in my hair too - they use breen in the bleach process to offset the red - it is pretty standard though

Highly recommend Sally at Who Does Your Hair in Bellmore. She can definitely do what you are looking for --

I am in suffolk and can recommend you my girl. She is in Patchogue. I have brown hair with blond highlights.
