Could eliminating the bedtime bottle help prevent diaper leaks/blowouts overnight?
Ugh, it's getting to be every morning and changing diapers hasn't helped. Diaper fulled with poop and pee and both have found ways to escape.. there just isn't enough room in there for it all
Has anyone had any luck changing the bottle schedule for their DC and it affecting overnight bathroom "fun"?

Re: Could eliminating the bedtime bottle help prevent diaper leaks/blowouts overnight?
I think it will help. My DD doesn't leak every night but she does leak at times. Her diaper is FULL though in the morning. A couple of nights ago I changed her right before bed and then she only drank 3 oz before bed (she refused to drink anymore) and her diaper in the morning was practically dry. I kinda worried a little but then the rest of the day she had wet diapers as usual so I attributed it to the very little that she drank before bed. So from this experience yes I think that would help.

DS was leaking ever night. We changed to overnight diapers and the problem continued. That's when I eliminated the before bed bottle. It helped tremendously. I was afraid it would disrupt DS's bedtime routine, but it really didn't. We kept the rest of the routine the same and he continued to go down like a champ.

how old is your DC? Mine was doing this for almost 2 weeks straight back at around 7 mos old - she was cutting her first tooth. As soon as the tooth cut through it stopped. She was waking up with poop up her front and back literally every morning. Try buying either a swimmie diaper or a pull up and putting that on over an overnight diaper...it helped contain it a bit for us. Buy it in a bigger size too so that it comes up high on the waist.
Good luck!
PS - I personally would not ever drop a bedtime bottle...DD loves that bottle and I'd be afraid she'd be going to bed hungry or something.

She's almost 9 months and has 2 teeth so far.. I agree about the bedtime bottle.. it's part of our routine, I don't know when else she'd fit in the ounces, and it makes her sleepy..
