For my 3rd. He is a boy and it was clear as day. Tech said it at 12w3d. She was right.

Tech was right at the 12 week us both times for my kids. Boy and girl. I had the same tech for both kids. She has done us for 18 years.

Could even be possible
My cousin found out at 13 weeks and had confirmed at 19 weeks boy so for her it was right, I never heard of this until she had her ultrasound. I always thought that gender couldn't be discriminated until at least 14 weeks from what I read? I guess with more advancing technology they can tell?!

Re: Could even be possible
You're talking about someone guessing correctly something that has a 50/50 chance to begin with. Sure it's possible to take a really good guess at that point but I defiitely wouldn't be painting walls till closer to the anatomy scan.

Re: Could even be possible
No pic still.
At that point, there is a theory that the angle of the genital nub can reveal the sex. Boy nubs point up higher, where girl nubs are more parallel to the spine. So I think it's possible. But I really wouldn't have a gender reveal or paint the nursery yet. I was told definitively based on a sonogram at the end of my 15th week.

Re: Could even be possible
At 12 weeks I was told the genders of my twins
She said baby b with 100 percent accuracy was a boy
85 percent baby a was a girl
She was right!

Could even be possible
The sono techs at my practice wouldn't even attempt to guess that early. Earliest they'd say anything was around 17 weeks.

Ditto. They would not even venture a guess. Like a pp said, it's more of a guess at this point. I'd hold off for confirmation down the line, either a later sonogram or a blood test.
