I know!!! DH was laughing at me because I was so annoyed about that! I had a lot I wanted to do today and plans with a friend and now I'm stuck at home!! Of course the weather is supposed to get warmer by Monday  I told DH I'm not the only teacher on LI who is unhappy today!

Probably wouldn't have been one in the city, but there's another storm coming in on Tues, so keep your fingers crossed!!!

I was about to post the same thing!!! I'm soooooo mad!! I must've jinxed us cuz I told my friends before break that I bet it would snow over break and it 'could've been' a snow day!
There's 5 inches in my school district now. I think the administrative offices are closed!!!
I won't get my hopes up for next week...I haven't had ANY luck with snow days this year!!

Oh definetely NOT! I love when they say non essential vehicles ONLY on the roads but PS school is open

why would you want a snow day?
in my district, every snow day is one less day of vacation so i only pray for 2 hour delays!

that's too bad
because when all is said and done, if we don't have any snow days, we wind up with days off that other districts don't get since theirs are built in

would have been nice, but my dsitrcit gives us the Friday before Memorial Day off as well as two days tacked on to the April break if we DON'T use the snow days... so far so good!
