Are you taking your temp at the same time every morning? If you don't, then you'll get those open circles.

what if you take it 5 days a week at 545 am and then on the weekends around 9?

No- that will throw off the numbers like crazy. Just set your alarm for 5:45, take your temp, and go back to sleep.
