Counter Tops
Anyone know how much (roughly, of course) is it to buy and have installed laminate counter tops in an average size kitchen?
Not sure we want to upgrade to the good stuff just yet, but because I hate the existing counter tops I am wondering if it is worth it to change out the existing ones to a better laminate or just deal with it for a few years.

roughly 40 dollars a foot to make it and installing maybe 250-500 dollars. HTH

we had custom laminate counters made for our kitchen 4 years ago. Its a pretty big area & we paid $770.
The person's name is Bill Alessi, his company is Countertop express in Bohemia, I don't have the number handy right now. I refered him to other people here & everyone that used him was very happy.

We paid $150 for our custom made formica counter from lowes. Danielles dad and I installed it.
Lowes cut it and also cut out the hole for the sink.
sorry about all the junk on the counter - thats when we were working on the house.

We've been looking to re-do our kitchen and most places we saw sold laminate for less than $20 per square foot.
