Coupon-finding ladies: can anyone find a coupon that will work...

for JC Penney online purchases that DOESN'T exclude furniture?

I have a gal on here looking too but wanted to post in case someone had a good coupon too.

Obviously most of them I'm finding (whether it's a % off or a free shipping one) exclude furniture.

But it would certainly help if I could find SOMETHING. Not only for cost, but out of principle, I HATE not having a coupon code for an online order anywhere

I don't think they have coupons for furniture.

I tried a few months ago when we bought our sofa.

None of them worked online. I went to the Store and I had one of the coupon in my hand. Wishfull thinking she would not know any better.

She told her that coupons did not work on furniture.

I have TONS of coupons for shipping though.

If you go to the store the price might be a bit higher than on the internet but the shipping is significantly cheaper at the store than online. For us it was more beneficial to buy the sofa $100 more at the store because we ended up saving $200 on our total order with the shipping included.

you can only do that if you open a JCP credit card and get the 10 or 15% off (or whatever special they are running to open a card). we did that when we bout our baby furniture. We opened the account right at the catalog desk..didnt take long.

we paid the bill off in 2 months and havent used the card again.

might be something to think about...
