Coupon sites
so I saw a blurb on inside edition the other night and it showed how a lady gets tons of coupons online for her groceries, and she spends like $5.00 a week to feed her family! Of course they are not eating any meat with that and its a lot of un-healthy foods, but I was wondering where online does she get her coupons? Does anyone use any site for coupons??

Re: Coupon sites
Here's an article I just found that rates some coupon websites. I don't have one I use for groceries, but I think I'll look into some of these.
*******************
If you are like me you always think about saving money. You know you should clip coupons but you just don’t do it. Or maybe you do it but then you forget your coupons and they end up expiring. Online coupons take the time out of finding and cutting out itsy bitsy “Save 50 cents” coupons. Using the internet as a source for you savings is an awesome way to get deals on what you need when you need it.
As I have said time and time again, before you begin to save big using the internet you need to take one precaution. Most of the best coupon companies will ask you to create a quick membership. The membership is 100% free but they use you email to spam you or send you coupons for stuff you don’t want. So create a totally free email account using gmail, yahoo or hotmail before you sign up for anything on the internet. This prevents your personal email from overflowing with garbage every day. And believe me when I say “overflowing”! I did not take this step and I was getting, on average, 25 or more emails for every company you can imagine for every product under the sun! And most of the time you can just scroll down to the bottom of the email and select “Take Me Off Your List”, but some of these companies are tricky and don’t offer this option. So take the extra 2 minutes and make a secondary email, it’s totally worth it.
Here’s some sources for savings and my opinions of them:
Cool Savings – Rating: **** Offers coupons for Groceries, Baby Goods, Auto Accessories, Free Samples and More. BUT not all of the free samples are free! I only use this site for the excellent coupons. Savings are completely worth it but this company will spam you daily.
Coupon Cabin Rating: *** This site was featured on USA Today. They have coupons for all kinds of stores like Target, Sears, Old Navy, etc.
Ever Save Rating: * Good coupons but a pain to get. You have to fill out all this crap to even find a coupon.
Ebates – Rating:*** Pretty cool site. You can get rebates and coupons and save big at your favorite stores. They also offer cash back rewards which can add up. You get $5 in your account just for signing up and savings are really great. Easy to search for certain stores. Some of the stuff itsn’t coupons though, it’s like 10% off flowers if you buy from 1-800-Flowers online. I have found it easiest to search for exactly what I need.
Coupon Surfer Rating: ***** This is one of my favorite sites for coupons. They have REAL coupons that are clear to understand plus free (actually free) samples:
WOW Coupons Rating: * THIS SITE DOES NOT SPAM! You don’t have to make a membership just take what you need. A lot of the coupons are for non-grocery things like 10% off Picture Framing at JC Penny or a discounted Balleys Gym membership. They don’t offer a ton.
Online Reward Center Rating: 0 Awful site. They promise to send you $1000 worth of free grocery gift cards but you literally have to jump through hoops to get anything. First you have to sign up for a free membership, then you get spammed like never before. You are asked to sign up for deals that you have to pay for. If you sign up for “X Amount” of deals you get a cheesy reward. NOT WORTH IT! Plus they have a million “requirements” so they can find a way not to give you anything you earned.
Custom Coupon Rating: ***** A great site for actual coupons on Groceries you will buy like Cheerios, Yogurt and more. I love the way they have pictures for every items and it’s all on one easy-to-read page.
Penny Pincher Gazette Rating: ***** Another awesome site for savings. The PPG is actually a monthly publication that has TONS of cool money saving stuff. Totally worth signing up for. And if you don’t want them to email you anything they won’t! Best and Worst Coupons Sites
