Cowfish or Rumba?
I go to both all the time, same owners so you'll see a little resemblance on the menus.
Rumba is relaxed, reggae atmosphere, food to match...jerk, coconut, etc.
Cowfish is a tad more fancy, has the hampton atmosphere...beautiful water views...the brussel sprout salad is to die for so is the lobster stuffed mushrooms. Maui Waiu roll for $22.00 is a little too over drenched in sauces for my liking.

Tx! I used to go to Indian Cove, so I know the views are prime at Cowfish. Didn't know the 2 have the same owners. I am dying to try the Dominican ribs at Rumba What's the deal w/ parking and the shuttle for Rumba...can I take my 2 year old on the shuttle?

It's just a little mini bus all decked out in jamaican gea...it drives from cowfish parking to rumba (parking at rumba is slim if you go on a weekend)

If I had to pick, I like Rumba better than Cowfish, but it becomes too packed with tourists during the season for locals to enjoy it.

I don't even bother trying after June and until September, except during the week. Tiderunners is the same way. And I think it was part of Indian Cove's problem, their service and quality went down the tubes the last few years.
Have you been to One North? Last time I was there no outside seating but nice place.

We like it, have been there 2 or 3 times. Like I said, no outdoor seating but nice to have a steak place out east. Yes, we are in Shirley and like to head EAST on weekends, days off, etc. I commute to Garden City everyday so have no need to head west when I'm off.
Actually, one of my fave places by you is Atlantic fish market!
