Personally, I would get a cozy coupe over a buggy. DS is 2.5 and is getting too big for the buggy. He loves the cozy coupe though. HOWEVER, the buggy was so nice to take him on walks with around the neighborhood.

My kids love both but for a 1 year old I say the buggy.... that way you can take it on walks and push them along. My kids couldn't get around in the coupe much by themselves at that age.

We have both:) When smaller the step 2 buggy is great because you can push them. Pushing the cozy coupe is no fun. My 2yo still loves the step 2 buggy

My Ds is 15 months and LOVES his buggy. He's not fond of the Cozy Coupe yet - because of the roof.

Depends on your child. My DD at 1 would not sit still in the buggy so it was a waste of money for us. She did however grow into the cozy coupe by 18 months and loves it.

Re: cozy coupe OR step2 buggy? For a 1 year old

Our DD is 20 months old and didn't really like the cozy coupe because she still doesn't grasp the idea that she needs to paddle her feet in order to move forward. We got DD the Step 2 Buggy last Easter and she has pretty much outgrown it after a year. She absolutely loved the Buggy and got a ton of use out of it, but I'm a bit disappointed that we barely got one year of use out of it.

My suggestion is to look into one of these smart trikes that can go from infant to child. Something like this:

It is going to last you a lot longer than the two cars that you asked about.

Hope this helps Chat Icon

We have both, and also have the smart trike posted above.

The cozy coupe we got is a POS, it's so loud on the sidewalk, the wheels never sit right and it's coming apart. DD hardly uses it.

The step2 buggy is great, very quiet and open.. DD used to love it when she was younger. She still likes it now but would rather ride the trike.

Of the 3, she likes the smart trike the best and it will last the longest.

We have the cozy coupe and the smart trike. Cozy coupe is a pain to push because the handle is so low (and I'm not tall.) DS LOVES the Smart Trike.

Re: cozy coupe OR step2 buggy? For a 1 year old

I have a great cozy coupe that we got DD for this past Christmas. It has a handle attached to it to push them while they are little and a footboard that screws in so they don't slip out, plus you can lock the door. Then when they are older, you remove the footboard and unsecure the door. Its fantastic and it is our go to mode of transport for our 8 month old right now when we are just outside. I'll see if I can find a picture anywhere online. I ordered it from the little tykes website.

Edited to add that I don't see it online anymore. Its has the same type of handle as the push buggy.
