american red cross has it on their websites.

local libraries will offer it too.

ETA: 1st aid will be good for 3 years. CPR 1 year

I just took mine last week. I coach softball for a local college and we have to take it. Wasn't as boring as I remember it to be lol

I'll find out who did it and let you know.

Try you local ambulance corps/fire department. They probably offer it.

you can also check the North Shore LIJ site for their offerings (if you're in Nassau). Or, other hospitals, as well.

I just took mine last week at work, but I know that a lot of fire departments and hospitals do it. If you can get a group of people to do it with you, you can get someone into your home to teach a class. The guidelines have changed over the past few years and its a good idea even for people who have taken it before but a long time ago to take an updated course.

I firmly believe everyone should take this class, you never know, you may save someone's life someday Chat Icon
