CPSE/CSE - Speech
My son has his transition meeting coming up and his SLP thinks that he wont qualify for a speech diagnosis because his scores (CELF) were mostly average. But all his service providers agree there are deficits with his auditory processing etc. so we will be fighting to have him keep speech services for kindergarten.
We had the same problem last year but the SLP decide to do 2 others tests that were more specific to DS issues and the scores were much lower. If the school denies services for speech do I have the right to request he be re-tested using other tests? (based on the fact that last year his CELF scores were ok but 2 other tests were in the poor/low range)

Not sure on the district because they all have different rules, etc. But you always have the right to request an additional evaluation if you disagree with the recommendation. Talk to the SLP some more. I know it can be difficult with the transition from CPSE to CSE. Again remember you never have to agree with the final IEP if you feel he needs services.
