Crab Meadow beach question
If you are a resident of Huntington, where can you get a beach pass? As for Crab Meadow Beach, what time must you get there for parking? Any other tips re Crab Meadow Beach? It will be my first time there.

Re: Crab Meadow beach question
Crab Meadow is a town of huntington beach. You have to buy a pass or pay for a day pass. I go a lot because it is a great beach for kids. It is not a huge lot. I park by the playground. I normally go there around noon and never have a problem. I have been there on weekends and it still doesn't get crowded. Very rocky beach but all North Shore beaches are. I prefer the South Shore but it is too far with the kids.
Have fun!

Crab Meadow is very rocky I usually wear water shoes in the water. You can get a sticker for CMB when you first pull in at the booth. Its a great beach you will enjoy it.

Re: Crab Meadow beach question
just to add, you can get your beach sticker at any of the TOH beaches and use them at any. So if you live near one of the other beaches, you can get your sticker there and then use it at CMB.
Have a good time!

Re: Crab Meadow beach question
I buy mine at the ticket booth. $35/season; $20 for the day.
Definitely look to see when high tide is.

Re: Crab Meadow beach question
We were there last Friday, which was a great beach day. We got there around 11:30 and there was plenty of parking and it wasn't crowded at all. It seems a lot more ppl showed up after lunch. I hadn't been there in a few years, so I forgot what a great beach it was.
You just have to show your license to get the resident pass. $35 for the season can't be beat!

Do you know where you can check the tides?
