Cradle Cap and Losing Hair?!
DD has a thick layer of cradle cap. I was trying my best to remove most of it and I noticed that as the hunks of cradle cap were coming off her hair was coming out too!! There is now a small bald spot and I feel terrible for not noticing that her hair was coming out!
Has anyone had this happen!?

Re: Cradle Cap and Losing Hair?!
Yes, newborns frequently lose their hair. I have had 3 newborns all born with full heads of hair, end up BALD by one month. It's completely normal.
The cradle cap is normal too. Try Arbonne cradle cap treatment, it works. Also, try rubbing baby oil onto your baby's scalp, rubbing it GENTLY with a toothbrush, and then shampoo it.

Re: Cradle Cap and Losing Hair?!
Julia had some cradle cap on top of her head and if I played with it the hair would fall out and it made me nervous, so I left it alone and it eventually went away, I didn't like putting oils on her hair.

Not sure if my Ds had hair fall out when he had cradle cap. We used aquaphor and it made his hair look greasy but it worked wonders and that greasy look was only temporary. I recommend it. ETA: I would use it just every other day.
